Guide to Reducing Food Waste
Everyone can agree on the importance of reducing food waste. Throwing food away is a waste of both money and natural resources.
MaRa has taken part in projects run by the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) known as the Food Waste Monitoring and Road Map project and the Food and Waste Monitoring project. These projects aimed to improve the monitoring of food waste and edible food waste and study ways of reducing these forms of waste in the food supply chain.
MaRa and a working group with representatives of some member companies have prepared a guide to reducing food waste in restaurants.
